Gwangjiang mkt. previously Dongdaemun mkt is a traditional street market in Jongno-gu. The mkt is one of the oldest and largest traditional mkt.s in Korea, with mor2 than 5,000 shops and 20,000  employees in an area of 42,000 sqmeters. Today the mkt has approximately 1,500-2,000 vendors selling fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, bread, clothing, textiles, handcrafts, kitchen wear, souvenirs, and , but the mkt is most famous for its Bindaetteok or mung bean pancakes, and mayak gimbap. Best place to buy sovenirs for present(1st floor) or Korean  traditional fabrics(2nd floor) & interior items for home decoration. Price is much better than Insa-dong but still need to bargain.
